These are The Pink Pamper charities. All proceeds from fundraising events support the following:
Cancer Patient Assistance Fund
The Cancer Patient Assistance Fund helps patients ease some financial barriers by providing partial short-term financial assistance needed to complete their treatment. The Fund is designed to help eligible patients with costs related to transportation, medical equipment, nutrition, prosthetic devices, and lodging necessary for repeat treatment.
Pink Pamper Halo Fund
The HaLo Fund was established to help individuals with hair loss by providing financial assistance towards hair replacement options to restore confidence and enhance a positive image. Vouchers are provided for assistance with hair replacement options to individuals experiencing hair loss due to chemotherapy, radiation or alopecia.
The Pink Pamper is pleased to have Smail Auto Group as a new sponsor for the HaLo Fund.
Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania
The Aid for Domestic Violence Fund provides support to Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania. DVSSP provides assistance to Washington, Greene and Fayette counties by providing advocacy and safe, effective services to those victimized by domestic violence. Eliminating domestic and partner violence is a vision shared by the Pink Pamper and DVSSP.
The G.I.F.T Fund
The G.I.F.T. Fund was inspired by the one of the most meaningful moments of the Pink Pamper Health & Beauty Fair… the “Extreme Pink Pamper Style Makeover”. Each year the Pink Pamper selects cancer patients (currently in treatment) through a random drawing of submissions at sixteen area UPMC Cancer Centers. A head-to-toe makeover for the winner is provided. After “gifting” our first winner, we knew we wanted to do more for women in treatment. This inspiration has led the Pink Pamper to utilize the G.I.F.T. FUND to support women in need in our community. We often hear of a woman, and also her family, struggling with the burden of a cancer diagnosis. Individual situations vary with the financial strain, but help is always needed.
