Meet the Pink Pamper Team

 

Marian Geisler

Founder & President

Marian’s mother passed away from cancer. While enjoying a night out with friends, they began discussing how to create an event that could give financial support to women going through cancer treatment. They explored options on where to hold the event. When they found a hotel with a beautiful ballroom, the inception of The Pink Pamper “Health and Beauty” fair began. The committee made of up of a few good friends sought out vendors and beauty professionals and made the event the “go to” event for over 7 years. Marian is a PA licensed Cosmetologist specializing in hair styling and cosmetics.

Lea Ann Rattigan

Lea Ann joined the Pink Pamper in 2009. She is a PA licensed Cosmetologist, salon owner and has a background in beauty, cosmetics and wellness. Helping women feel better inside and out is her passion. During the time when The Pink Pamper held the Health and Beauty fairs, Lea Ann was the director of Pampering Services. Enlisting the help of beauty professionals, she turned the hotel, where the event was being held, into a SPA.

Mary Kitchen

Treasurer of the Board

Mary Kitchen is a CPA with a Master’s of Science in Taxation. She works with fast-growing entrepreneurs who need a strategic accounting partner. A Summa Cum Laude graduate of Adelphi University, Mary holds the degree of bachelor’s in business administration. She received her Master’s Science in Taxation from Robert Morris University. Mary has earned the distinguished certification of being an Advanced Certified QuickBooks Online Pro-Advisor Active in the community, Mary not only supports The Pink Pamper, but also supports Heroes Supporting Heroes, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and the Canon-McMillan Big Mac Band. She served on the Board of Directors for the Samuel J Foundation, an organization dedicated to Pediatric Brain Tumor Research, and was recognized with the Hometown Hero Award for her nonprofit organization The Tumbleweed Foundation. Mary is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, The National Association of Certified QuickBooks Advisors, and Pittsburgh Professional Women. She has worked with companies such as Intuit, Price Waterhouse Coopers, and Ernst & Young.

Adrianna Deithorn

Executive Director

Adrianna is an accomplished, award winning fundraiser and event planner. She has been a development professional for more than 20 years. Recognized as a leading expert in her field, her client engagements have spanned all major non-profit sectors and included campaign planning studies, major gift program development, interim development management, engaging with key stakeholders, preparing, and coaching non-profit leaders, designing tailored fundraising strategies, developing communication plans, and capital campaign management.
Her knowledge of the national, regional, and local philanthropic landscape includes direct experience designing and managing fundraising initiatives for clients across the country, with goals ranging from $250,000 to $50 million. Leading unprecedented initiatives, she has been involved in every aspect, from the planning stages through to donor stewardship and on-going communications. She has specific expertise in designing and managing national, comprehensive major gift campaigns, particularly for institutions with start-up programs and healthcare organizations focusing on cancer.
In 2021, Adrianna hit the achievement of raising over $100 Million Dollars in her career. She has also received National, Regional and Local awards for her outstanding work in Fundraising.

Evelyn Castillo

Auction Director

Evelyn has over 14- years of experience planning and managing events in Pittsburgh.  She is the owner of Sterling Events  and loves creating unique experiences for her clients, as well as curating amazing silent auctions. Evelyn currently serves as a Trustee for Awesome Pittsburgh,  Board Chair for Multiplying Good Pittsburgh, and as a board member for the Mon Valley Community Foundation.  She and her husband live in one of Pittsburgh’s many diverse neighborhoods and she is awaiting the return of summer and paddle boarding!
